Grand Duck King Restaurant Review

Grand Duck King restaurant my favorite Chinese restaurant but they have long queues especially in busy hours, such as lunch and dinner time. I love Duck King 's foods but hate the queue, why when we are hungry, we still have to queue .

But a few days ago, i read that Duck King had opened a new branch called the Grand Duck King and the place is bigger than the others, so the queue should be lesser. Tomorrow is Chinese New year, so i decided to go there today to celebrate it.

When i got there, i was happy because i didn't have to queue. I ordered some foods, some of them are :

• Peking Duck. Why ? it's a duck restaurant after all, so one duck dish is a must
• Nian Gao. Why ? because tomorrow is Chinese New Year
• Yu Sheng. Why ? because tomorrow is Chinese New Year

The foods were great at The Grand Duck King restaurant but there were some weaknesses, some of them were :

• not all the employees knew about their Chinese New Year speciality dishes, for example : Nian Gao. The waiters didn't know about the dish, we must ask to the manager. So i thought lack of communication was also a problem there
• we must wait at least a half an hour for the Nian Gao ready to be served
• we can view Plaza Indonesia from our table but too bad the window glasses were full of water marks. If they were clean, the views would be better

Hopefully, next time i go there, Duck King has cleared all the weaknesses. But i and my family had a great time there. I recommend to have Chinese New Year Celebration at The Grand Duck King.
